SKINN and FIVE AM
form partnership on spatial identity.

SKINN BRANDING AGENCY acquires a majority stake in spatial design studio FIVE AM. Kurt De Vlieghere and Ruth Bossuyt from SKINN consolidate their holistic strategy and their belief in the future and the importance of spatial identity within branding through this partnership. FIVE AM, led by founder and creative director Olivier Caluwier, celebrates its 10th birthday this year and is shaping an ambitious vision for the future with this step.

SKINN is steadily building an ecosystem around their holistic approach to brand creation and optimization, and aims to continuously strengthen that through partnerships, participations and investments. The need for a permanent spatial identity partner was clear and the match with FIVE AM was instant, both personally and professionally.

Kurt, SKINN: “ We believe in a holistic branding approach and want to have all the elements of brand development and optimization that are linked to the various components of brand identity in house or as a partnership. Both FIVE AM and SKINN often get assignments in which we can benefit from each other's services. A joint offering of branding and spatial design is attractive for both our customers. ”

Ruth, SKINN: “ I myself have a background in interior design and architecture. Kurt and I therefore have a high affinity with interior design, both professionally and personally. Our holistic approach has shown the importance of spatial identity for some time now, we went looking for a preferred partner and found one in Olivier with FIVE AM. ”

FIVE AM found SKINN to be the ideal sparring partner with ambition, who brings additional entrepreneurial qualities to the table and with a shared design philosophy and business strategy. Both parties like to focus on beauty, the essence of a design and the flexibility to adapt in these ever-changing times and circumstances.
